School Trust Fund

What is the Trust Fund?

The Hilltop Trust Fund provides resources and facilities for the school.  It is overseen by some of the school governors and Headteacher, and is another great way to support the school.

It is also an opportunity for parents, carers and members of the community to make financial contributions to the school to benefit the pupils’ education.

What would a gift be used for?

The trust has received donations in the past, and these historic funds have recently enabled the school to buy maths and literacy resources throughout the school, and to put artificial grass outside the cabin.  The trust is also funding the re-seeding of the school field, with the aim of a green field for next Summer!

  • If just 10 parents gave £5.00 per month, then in a year that would buy £600 of outdoor playground equipment for 200 children.
  • If just 20 parents gave £5.00 per month, then in a year that would buy £1,200 of learning resources for the children.
  • If just 40 parents gave £5.00 per month, then in a year that would raise £2,400 and enough to buy some new IT equipment such as IPads for the children.

With your help and donations, we can continue to make improvements in the school learning and play environment.  We can also provide some wonderful enrichment activities, such as drama and science workshops and visiting theatre groups.

In time we are hoping to be able to claim Gift Aid and receive gifts through Payroll Giving, to enable us to make your gift go even further.
