School Results

We are incredibly proud of the achievements of our pupils in 2026. Our results show a strong upward trend across the school, with Year 6 pupils achieving 80% in Reading, Writing and Maths combined — 18 percentage points above the national average. This reflects the hard work of our pupils, the dedication of our staff and our commitment to providing every child with the opportunity to succeed.

Our 2026 highlights include:

• 95% achieved the Expected Standard in Reading, with 55% achieving Greater Depth
• 90% achieved the Expected Standard in Maths, with 45% achieving Greater Depth
• 85% achieved the Expected Standard in Writing
• 85% of our Reception children achieved a Good Level of Development, compared with 69% nationally
• 90.9% of Year 1 pupils passed the Phonics Screening Check
• 96.6% had passed the Phonics Screening Check by the end of Year 2

These outcomes demonstrate the strength of learning from our youngest children through to Year 6. We are particularly proud of the progress we have made over recent years and the growing number of pupils achieving at greater depth. At Beacon Hill, we have high expectations for every child and strive to create a nurturing, ambitious environment where children are encouraged to be confident, curious and achieve their very best.
