UNIFORM Expectations
The staff and governors at Beacon Hill Primary School expect that all children will look smart and wear clean appropriate uniform at all times.
The children should take pride in their presentation and wearing the school uniform. In KS1 and KS2 shirts and polo shirts are expected to be tucked in and if wearing a shirt, the top button should be done up.
We ask that ALL items of clothing are clearly named to allow any lost property to be returned to the appropriate child.

Where to purchase Uniform items
Our uniform supplier is Brenda’s. They sell our school uniform branded items. (School sweatshirt/cardigan, school PE t-shirt and school tie) Purchases can be made in the shop, and online ordering at www.brendas.co.uk for either ‘Click & Collect’ or home or workplace delivery.
All non-branded school uniform items can be bought from any high-street/online retailer.

Hair
Smart and tidy hairstyles only, all long hair (past shoulder length) must be tied up and any hair accessories should be plain and of school uniform colour. No decorated hair braids, colours or shaved patterns are allowed.
Jewellery
One plain stud earring (please see example picture below) may be worn in each ear but these MUST be removed for participation in PE lessons. Children must be able to remove and put their earrings in by themselves. If a child has earrings that cannot be removed, they will not be permitted to participate in PE lessons
A watch may be worn (but taken off during PE) but no other jewellery (e.g., rings, bracelets, necklaces) are allowed.
Nail polish / temporary tattoos are also not permitted.
Note: there are no separate uniform specifications for boys and girls.
