Career Opportunities

We have a vacancy for a part-time term-time only Teaching Assistant to support our children's learning across the school.  The role is varied and rewarding.  The role involves working closely with teaching staff to support individual pupils' learning through one to one sessions or will involve working with small groups of pupils as directed. The successful applicant will ideally have previous experience working in a primary setting, have excellent communication skills and a good level of education.  They must have the ability to mange groups of pupils and from time to time deal with challenging behaviour.  

Training will be given, and we encourage our learning support team to develop their skills with regular courses. 

 

The hours will be from 8.30 am to 1.15 pm (23.75) Monday to Friday which will include a lunchtime supervision session.  

The closing date for this role is Wednesday 5th November.  Start date as soon as possible.  

 

Salary: WMAT Pay Scale WA3 9 - Full-time equivalent £24,420
