Visions and Values

Our vision and values are at the core of everything we do. They underpin our teaching and learning, and provide an environment which prepares our pupils as confident, happy citizens. We strive to offer the richest learning curriculum, delivered by well trained staff, where everyone achieves more than they thought possible, within a caring, safe, dynamic environment.

School Vision

As children progress through Beacon Hill School, we strive to empower them to become:

Brave: we want children to be risk takers, confident and have a sense of self belief

Empathetic: we want children to be respectful of all differences, regardless of gender, race or religion

Aspirational: we want children to have a thirst for knowledge, be confident and socially prepared

Creative: we want children to be problem solvers and independent thinkers

Optimistic: we want children to be open minded and have a positive growth mindset

Nurturing: we want children to care about their environment

School Values

Each month in school, children and adults focus on one of our key values and look at ways in which we can all embrace these, with a positive impact our everyday lives:

January - Aspiration

February - Courage

March and April - Respect

May - Resilience

June - Democracy

July - Honesty

September - Kindness

October - Equality for all (including gender neutrality)

November and December - Perseverance
