Eco Council

Welcome to our Eco-Council!

 

Every Autumn, each class votes for two representatives to be part of our Eco-Council. Even our Reception class (Bumblebees) get involved as a whole class later on in the year. We meet at least once a term to discuss ways to reduce, recycle and protect our environment. We also work to raise awareness of green issues within our school.

 

Recent projects include litter-picking, leading a whole school assembly, sorting through playground equipment to ensure it was eco-friendly and planting some wildflower seeds. We have lots of ideas of more projects we want to do and we are really excited about the positive changes we can make to help our planet, school and local environment.
