Eco Council

Welcome to Our Eco-Council

Every autumn, each class votes for two representatives to join our Eco-Council. Even our Reception class (Bumblebees) is involved as a whole class later in the year. We meet at least once a term to discuss ways to reduce, recycle, and protect our environment. We also work to raise awareness of green issues within our school.

 

Recent projects have included:

  • Litter-picking
  • Leading a whole-school assembly
  • Sorting through playground equipment to ensure it is eco-friendly
  • Planting wildflower seeds

 

We have many more exciting ideas for projects we want to carry out, and we are thrilled about the positive changes we can make to help our planet, school, and local environment.
