Little Beacons Woodland Nursery

We are excited to share that admissions are now open for Little Beacons Woodland Nursery, our brand-new nursery at the heart of Beacon Hill Primary School. With the support of WMAT, we are proud to launch this nursery, offering children a place to explore, play, and learn in a safe and welcoming environment.

At Little Beacons, we believe childhood is all about curiosity, discovery, and growing with confidence. Here’s what makes our nursery special:

  • A familiar, school-based setting where children feel safe and part of a community
  • Learning through woodland play, encouraging children to be curious, confident, and resilient
  • A warm, family feel where every child is valued as an individual
  • A smooth transition into primary school, helping children feel ready and settled
  • Funded childcare places available for eligible families

Funding support is available for many families through the Early Years Funded Entitlement:

  • All 3 and 4-year-olds can receive up to 570 hours of free childcare each year (usually 15 hours a week during term time)
  • From September 2025, working parents of children aged 9 months to 4 years will be able to claim up to 30 hours of funded childcare each week

To apply for funding support, simply create a childcare account on the government website, apply for the hours you are entitled to, and share your code with us. This means your child can enjoy a rich and nurturing nursery experience while you benefit from reduced childcare costs.

We will share further information soon and if you are interested in a nursery place, you can register your interest here – we would love to hear from you.
