Young Carer Awareness and Support

 

Our wonderful group of Young Carers meets twice every half-term, either side of the holidays.  If you consider your child to be a Young Carer, please make their class teacher aware so we can support them in school.

This website is full of information on support available in Surrey, covering: mental health, anxiety, neurodiversity, identity, trauma, eating disorders, self-harm and much more.

 

Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services (CAMHS) are an NHS service that aims to help young people up to the age of 18 who are finding it hard to manage their emotional and psychological health, and who are suffering with acute, chronic and severe mental health problems.  There services are also on the Mindworks website.

 

CAMHS videos to support mental health

These are 10-15 min films focussed on supporting primary aged young people with their mental health. It is a series of activities they can try which will support good mental health. All the films do a check in which encourages young people to think about and understand their emotions.
